The Curriculum
Each part must be completed in full before progressing. All content is self-paced and browser-based.
Build a practical understanding of how artificial intelligence works, what it can and cannot do, and how to evaluate AI-generated content critically. Explore key ethical issues — including bias, privacy, transparency, and accountability — and learn to use AI fairly and responsibly. Through hands-on practice, you’ll also learn how to write clear, effective prompts and refine them to produce more accurate, useful, and creative results across writing, research, analysis, and problem-solving.
Discover the power of AI with AI 201: AI Systems in Practice. This interactive course is designed for anyone eager to build practical AI skills and apply them in real-world settings. Learn from top experts as you explore hands-on activities and up-to-date insights. Throughout the course, you’ll gain a solid understanding of responsible and ethical AI, with a focus on practical uses that benefit people and communities.
Dive deeper into specific topics including agent creation, Cowork, AI assistants, vibe coding, and more. To earn the full microcredential, you will need to complete AI 101, AI 201, and one of the core modules for AI 301.
